Week Eight Wrap Up

The Week Eight Tub Treat is being awarded to the Record Room/Coding/Admin team, led by Cary.  Since there was no competition this week, Mel and I decided we should reward the team that has had to deal with the paper charts for oh so many years.  They deserve our thanks and admiration for this gargantuan task, so be sure to give them some positive words in the coming weeks.

During Week Eight, here and there some recipes were shared.  Over in Chaska we thought of Deb Vanderlinde, when Teri D. brought in some of Deb's recipes.  (Deb was a long term Lakeview employee who passed away several years ago.)  Seeing her recipes reminded us of our times together and the special gifts she shared with us.

This week's recipes, AND next week's activity (Slogans, Commercials and Jingles, sponsored by Reception and Business office, led by Sarah and Kristi) will go on the blog this weekend.  Be sure to check on Monday.  I know you are following the blog, as we are over 700 views, and the number one match for GoLakeview on Google.  Way to go!!!  ;-)

Please read the Week Seven notice once it is posted.  Our EHR committee, led by Drs. Beulke, McMichael, Peitersen and Tom Bowman, met this week and discussed our progress including many details that relate to the staff.  Supervisors were there, too, to help plan ahead so each area is prepared for the EHR.  On the Week Seven notice you will find answers to some FAQs, so be sure to take a look! ............After the meeting, when I went to fill the treat tub, look at what I found!!
